It may seem a little early for some of you, but many have already begun searching for Halloween projects to tackle this year. I have 18 new projects hitting the pages of HGTV this Halloween and even more new stuff coming here to Today's Nest.

I am kicking off the holiday content with decor, mostly because it is probably the most time consuming. Below are two of our HGTV projects. Click the photos or the links below to be taken to the full article on HGTV.com.

This headless horseman may seem like a big project to tackle, but I assure you it is easier than you think once you get a handle on what you're doing. I highly recommend reading all the way through the instructions before starting. All of the clothes came from the thrift store to save money. Get the full article HERE.

Turn a free pallet into a custom jack o'lantern that you can use year after year. We only had to use a few extra pieces (mostly scrap) to complete our project. We dry brushed it with orange paint, but it could look great left in its natural state, too. See the full article at Pallet Jack o'Lantern on HGTV.
